Is this supposed to make me laugh? Supposed to be an excuse? Are we not supposed to notice that this is not a real blog post, and merely a stalling tactic so that all your friends don't disown you?
Okay, it worked. I'm laughing.
we forgive you.
now take a swig AND GET BACK TO WORK!
Keep drinking that whiskey, it worked for Hemingway.
LOL...Save some of that for September!
This is SO funny.
Lame.
But funny.

thank you, minivan mom for putting it perfectly... "merely a stalling tactic."
you just took the easy way out.
we're ok with it because it was funny. but get back up on the horse. you can do it. we're all pulling for you.
in the time it took to stage that shot and get it upoladed, you could have posted!!!!!!
hey - that post is interesting in a chicago way ... thx for giving me the warm reception about moving back to the windy city the other day at westwood ... MUCH needed. would love to have gotten to know you better before having to leave! look me up when you visit. we will have LOTS of bottles like that in chicago.
BTW - if you can reference Faulkner (and I had to look up the f@#$ing reference because I'm THAT many years away from college), you can write a blog entry.
on the upside, you actually posted a picture of yourself on this blog! albeit, your face is covered, but i digress.
You hand write your blog posts? No wonder months go by...
You might try tequila. Tends to make a happy drunk...for a while.
