Sweepin' the clouds away
Today's post is brought to you by the number ten. Because, to the best of my knowledge, no one ever produced a video extolling the fun and frivolity of the number thirty-seven. Although this comes pretty close, I guess.
Anyway. Enjoy this gem from the '70s, and the earworm that no doubt ensues. You're welcome.

FRANKLIN!!!
(okay, keep breathing... don't frighten her away.... talk softly...)
I am so happy to see you back! And with this little nugget, well now I know we are twin sisters of different mothers.
When JH was sick the other day we watched Sesame Street for the first time in almost two years. It made us both soooo happy. I love all those funky, 70's counting songs. It was the only kind of comfort he could stomach.
Hope you and your beautiful family are well! So glad to see you again.
I was just thinking about you and lo and behold, here you are. A voice from the past.
This clip totally transported me back to eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while sitting on a brown corduoroy couch. Thank you.
Ditto to the first 2 lines of Anniemcq. I actually screeched out loud "FRANKLIN" when I clicked on this. My pathetic, desperate, daily click for some Franklin love.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANKLIN!
Birthday?! It's your birthday?
Oh my goodness - if we're twins, does that make it my birthday too?
Happy, Happy Birthday Franklin!
SHE'S ALIVE!!!
(and 27!)
you rock.
glad to see you surfacing for the big event of today's specialness...did your mom call to tell you that "27 years ago I had you, and I knew I was the luckiest woman alive"
'cause if she didn't, she surely felt that way
happy birthday amy-girl! hope you tie one on tonight and party like it's 1970
You're only 27?!!
Well I guess that blows my "twins" theory all to sh*t!
Happy Birthday anyway, ya Whippersnapper!
"...did your mom call to tell you that...'years ago I had you, and I knew I was the luckiest woman alive'..."
Well, at 7:02 this morning in the 2nd grade hallway I was singing silent hosannas in honor of the awe-inspiring arrival of my firstborn bundle of joy.
Happy Birthday, dear Amy!
Love you, Ma :)
Damn, I always knew you were her favorite. Oh well...
Happy Birthday!!!

happy, happy birthday! so many of us are so tickled that you are in our lives.
So I've been in the habit of checking daily to see when my sweet sister would post another blog, and of course the one day I don't check (on her birthday no less) is when she's posting away! Love the Sesame Street singalong, and love you even more! Happy B'day!!!
