Reprise
It's thoroughly surreal to pore through the pages of this blog after months of cheerful neglect: what greets me is simultaneously familiar and foreign.
On one hand, I know every picture and every word, intimately... but did I actually think that? Type it out? And post it for absolutely anyone to see? Murmur.
The problem is, whenever I've made sweeping declarations and solemn promises to faithfully update these pages on a consistent basis, I've rather quickly stumbled and tripped. (Clumsiness: I has it.)
And I joke with regularity that my brain has atrophied to such a degree that I can no longer write or read anything longer than 140 characters. The niggling fear, of course, is that the joke's on me.
So I'll resist the temptation to pledge that this content will be refreshed with any regularity or coherence. I'll just say that it's good to be here again. What happens next is anyone's guess.

Amy, I love your blog! It'd be so great to have you back posting on a regular basis.
I just went back and read the posts that you linked to, all of which were posts I had read before. But still... hilarious. (With the exception of the story about Spencer getting lost. That one? Just scary.)
The story about finding out your nanny had "died"? So awful, yet so funny. Especially after finding out what a hoot Nanny thought it all was!
When I was clicking on your links in the "Watershed" post, I revisited the "Ultrastunned" post, and something struck me that hadn't before. Did you really not know you were having twins until 24 weeks? That's incredible, especially with the frequency with which they do ultrasounds these days! You must have been a tiny pregnant lady for them to never suspect! :)
Anyway, I know you're not making any promises, but I hope you come back and write again soon!

I was shocked -- SHOCKED, I tell you! -- when your blog was bolded in Bloglines. Last night I had a dream (prepare to be riveted) that you and Mr. F5 moved into the same building as we were moving into. It seemed like a hotel or a giant vacation condo type of place. Anyhoo, we were shouting over our balconies to each other making plans to get together and do some drankin'.
